INTERNATIONAL LIFESTYLE MEDIA TOURS

We have worked with tourism boards and the luxury tourism sector in countries from around the world to bring international media to their destinations.


MERCEDES BENZ 125 ANNIVERSARY WORLD TOUR 2011

H&W Communications were mandated to organise the logistics, including liaison with government authorities, for the Chinese leg of the worldwide event, which spanned 6500 kilometres from Shanghai to the Kazakhstan border via Beijing. In 2006 we worked on a similar event for the Mercedes Benz E-class Paris-Beijing tour.


TOUR OF OMAN 2011

H&W Communications were contracted by legendary cyclist Eddy Merckx to coordinate the inaugural travel and lifestyle media tour associated with the Tour of Oman.


ILTM 2005

We promote regions and cities, such as the Lake Geneva Region and Monaco, to affluent Chinese travellers. We have also provided consultancy services to providers in the European luxury tourism sector, helping them to enter the high-end Chinese market and maximise the impact of their marketing efforts in China. We were invited to give a speech on the topic at the ILTM in 2005.


BEIJING OLYMPICS 2008

H&W Communications are specialised in event organisation. In 2008, we were contracted by the Lausanne Municipality and tourism board to coordinate a one-month event during the Beijing Olympics. We have also organised the Louis Vuitton Classic China Run in 2008 and the 2008 Largardére Sports rally from Saint Petersburg to Beijing.


CHINESE LIFESTYLE MEDIA TOURS

Courtesy of our strong media networks in China, we have organised several media trips to Europe for Chinese journalists. In 2005 we brought the first Chinese media group to Bordeaux to explore the wines of the region. We have also organised trips for Chinese lifestyle media to Art Basel, Corsica and the Dakar in South America.
